Christina and Christian

June 18th, 2016

How did the two of you meet?

We met at a party that Christian threw in his speakeasy basement in Rochester. We had a great time and an instant connection.

What happened the day he proposed? How did he do it?

He brought me to our property in South Bristol where we were going to start our hard cidery and popped the question. I was so surprised, it was the best day!

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, it’s location and your venue choice for your big day?

I went to the Sagamore Resort once on the fourth of July to watch the fireworks with family and thought that it was the most beautiful place I had ever seen! Always dreamed of having my wedding there. Christian and I went there for a weekend getaway and were sold. We wanted the style of the wedding to be very classic with whites, silver and dramatic greenery. We loved working with David from Renaissance Floral Design. He made our vision come to life!

How did you approach wedding planning? did you use any computer systems, apps or social media?

I hadn’t used any specific apps, just lots of organization through meetings, outlook calendar & excel.

What made you decide to hire a videographer?

We wanted to be able to look back on the whole day in a way that you couldn’t get from a photo.

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Once you have a vision for how you’d like to see the day go, everything will fall into place. Don’t stress the small things.

What were your favorite parts of your wedding day (or perhaps most memorable)?

Walking down the aisle to Christian. We hadn’t seen each other prior to the ceremony so I just couldn’t wait to see him! Also loved getting ready with my girls and family, dancing with Christian and the after party. Loved the slow motion video booth!
